09/01/2010 - Cleveland, OH (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Cleveland Indians recalled pitcher Carlos Carrasco from Triple-A Columbus, in time to start the team's finale of a three-game set against the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday.

The Indians also promoted right-hander Jensen Lewis and outfielder Jordan Brown from Columbus as the major league rosters expanded.

Carrasco is making his first big league start of the 2010 campaign after going 0-4 with an 8.87 earned run average in five starts last year. The righty was 10-6 with a 3.65 ERA in 25 starts at Columbus prior to being recalled.

The 23-year-old Carrasco was acquired from Philadelphia last year as part of five-player trade in which lefty Cliff Lee was sent to the Phillies.

Lewis, 26, in his fifth stint with the major league club this season, has accumulated a 3-2 record with a 3.86 ERA in 25 relief outings.

Brown, 27, had one prior stint with the Tribe this year and hit .226 with one RBI and four runs scored over nine games.
