02/18/2009 - (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Cleveland Cavaliers will kick off the second half of the NBA season tonight up north, as they pay a visit to the Toronto Raptors at Air Canada Centre.
The Central Division-leading Cavaliers entered the All-Star break with a 40-11 record and ended a two-game losing streak with a 109-92 victory versus Phoenix last Wednesday at Quicken Loans Arena. All-Star Mo Williams tallied a career- high 44 points and fellow All-Star LeBron James added 26 points, six rebounds and six assists in a winning cause.
Williams went 18-of-26 from the field, including 7-of-9 from three-point range, and had seven assists for Cleveland, which has won five of its last seven games. Williams had 12 points and five assists in the West's 146-119 victory over the East on Sunday night. James ended with 20 points, five rebounds and three assists in the mid-season contest.
Cleveland will also visit Milwaukee on the short trip and is 16-10 away from home this season. Cavs forward Ben Wallace (arm) is questionable for tonight and guard Delonte West (wrist) is listed as doubtful.
Toronto went 21-34 before All-Star festivities and entered the break riding a two-game winning streak. In a 91-89 victory versus San Antonio in the opener of a quick two-game homestand on Wednesday, rookie Roko Ukic set a career-high with 22 points and Andrea Bargnani added 23 points and eight rebounds for the Raptors, who have won two in a row after a six-game slide.
Jason Kapono added 21 points for the Raptors, who were without guard Jose Calderon due to a right hamstring injury. Toronto also saw forward Joey Graham go down with a left shin contusion. Toronto is still without All-Star forward Chris Bosh, who missed his fourth straight game with a sprained right knee. Bosh was replaced by Cleveland's Mo Williams on the Eastern Conference All- Star roster because of the injury and is questionable for Wednesday.
Calderon and Graham are also questionable versus the Cavs. Jermaine O'Neal had seven points and 10 boards in the win over San Antonio, then was traded to the Miami Heat along with forward Jamario Moon in exchange for forward Shawn Marion and guard Marcus Banks. The Raptors, who are 10-15 as the host in 2008-09, also gained cash in the deal and sent the Heat a conditional draft pick. Marion and Banks are expected to make their Toronto debut tonight.
The Cavs are 2-0 against the Raptors this season and have won four straight and eight of the last nine meetings. Toronto is 12-7 over the previous 19 matchups with Cleveland at Air Canada Centre.
The NBA trade deadline is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. (et) Thursday.

The 2009 AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds have been released and Denver Broncos' running back Knowshon Moreno has been made the opening favorite.
Moreno was selected in the first round of April's NFL draft and is expected to carry the rushing load for the Broncos this season. And with Jay Cutler now in Chicago, Moreno might be expected to be Denver's entire offense.
Betting Lines from sports betting lines have made Moreno a 5/2 favorite to win this year's Offensive Rookie of the Year Award. Fellow running back Chris “Beanie” Wells (Arizona Cardinals) is right behind Moreno at 7/2, while Donald Brown (Indianapolis Colts) and receiver Michael Crabtree (San Francisco 49ers) are 5/1 to win. Quarterbacks Mark Sanchez (New York Jets) and Matthew Stafford (Detroit Lions) are 7/1 and 8/1, respectively.
A couple of players who present some value are Josh Freeman, Shonn Green and Darrius Heyward-Bey.
Freeman needs to beat out Byron Leftwich to become the starting quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but if he does, he has a lot or raw talent and could use the weapons around him (i.e. Kellen Winslow Jr. and Antonio Bryant) to be very successful in his first season.
Green enters a crowded backfield in New York, but considering both Thomas Jones and Leon Washington are unhappy about their contract situations and might holdout, the former Iowa product could become the Jets' primary back.
Everyone was shocked when Al Davis took Heyward-Bey with the eighth overall pick in April's draft, but the kid has a tremendous amount of talent and if quarterback JaMarcus Russell takes the next step this year, the former Maryland product could blossom. Plus, Heyward-Bey will be looking to prove the people wrong who said Oakland should have taken Michael Crabtree with the No. 8 pick.
And if you're looking for a deep sleeper, check out Pat White at 30/1. He enters the Miami Dolphins vaunted “Wild Cat” offense and could be a big time playmaker.
